Associate Dean in the Business and Technology Division and the Executive Chef for the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State, housing Culinary and Pastry Arts, Hospitality Management, Dietetics, and Brewery Science programs.
Jason has over 25 years of experience in food service, restaurants, hotels, and resorts. He has worked at many award-winning establishments in South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida, including Kiawah Island Resort and Charleston Place Hotel. He has also worked with Food Network personalities and James Beard Award-winning chefs.
Before coming to CState, Jason served as Director for the Dedman School of Hospitality at Florida State University. He holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration/Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, and a master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. Jason earned bachelor’s and associate’s degrees, in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management, from Johnson and Wales University.
